Yippee! It's the Weekend!

I have been completely out of time lately! Work is super busy because we just launched our special event today and the 'week of' is always insane, I can’t catch up with the time change, I haven’t cleaned the house lately, I haven’t blogged lately, I haven't baked anything, I am trying to plan for the upcoming cupcake challenge, I am fighting with my lawyer about the lack of work she has done on my file (absolutely none), I am trying to hire a couple babysitters for when we need them, I need to clip the dogs nails, my son needs a haircut, and I still haven't mailed my 'Congratulations' card to my friend who told me she was expecting 3 weeks ago. Ugh. 

I am so happy it is Friday night - I feel like I just might be able to get at all these things on my list now that it is the weekend. First things first....I must bake something. I've been thinking of flavour combos all week long, so tonight I will station myself in the kitchen until it is very late and create assorted concoctions. 

Next week I plan to bring in three different kinds of mini cupcakes to the office and have a taste test. I thought this might be a good idea as I am still not sure which way I want to go with the upcoming contest. I am beginning to lean one way due to a couple ideas that were passed along to me, but sometimes I am swayed the opposite way by my chocolate loving better half. So....I'll do a taste test and see what people say.
